Comment: As part of my complimentary birthday gift to Steve, I hosted his birthday at my house. And yes, I made all them Northerners come down South. *gasp shock horror* lol. They have this deluded illusion that it's a massive trek to go from North to South...*sigh* Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVE!!!
The beginning...when I attempted to light my BBQ...with no help from any of the guys whatsoever because they believe that "girls should do the cooking". Omg...patriarchy!! (with the exception of David Li who actually HELPED cook!!!)
After much fighting with the fire, I finally got it going...and the food was COOKING! Looking at all the "chefs-in-making", we can already predict the future of chefs...ie bad. LOL
Food is finallllyyyy ready!!! Notice David Li's excited face in all his food photos...and his disappointment when he realised his long awaited steak was...not quite cooked yet...loll
